Cal Compte, one of the most majestic houses in the Priorat, was built in 1801 on old structures from the sixteenth century, in the refined taste of the time.

In 2007 it was refurbished as rural accommodation, respecting the aesthetics and original architecture to the maximum and giving each corner its personality and has a tourist activities license.

It is a space for those who think that authenticity is a luxury and who want to be part of the centuries-old history of Cal Compte and Priorat.

A spacious entrance welcomes customers and acts as a distributor. The old stables were used for the hotel facilities: boiler, water and diesel tanks.
There is an elevator and a workshop-storage room that also serves to store bicycles.

Baroque doors hide the wide staircase. At the back, as if it were an independent apartment, there is access to a large dining room. Around it there is the main kitchen with office and pantry, the library, another smaller dining room and a living area. A side corridor leads to the bathroom and the wardrobe room. The dining room itself opens directly onto the outside. First a porch and then an open terrace over the garden.

The views of the Montsant natural park and the vineyards are spectacular. The pavement is the original clay. The doors, paintings and mosaic are from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The staircase leads us to a large living room that opens onto the colonial-style covered terrace.
A room, used as a meeting space, and toilets. There is also a spacious office with the pre-installations prepared for a kitchen.
From the covered terrace, a small porch leads to the old latrines. The walls are covered in graffiti from when the house was occupied by soldiers during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Looking west, in the afternoon sun, we find an old guest room, the old bedroom of the lord of the house and the chapel. This dependency group is not restored.
It features frescoed walls and 18th-century woodwork and 19th-century ceramic floors.

The old loft houses eight modern and comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms.
Three suites and five double bedrooms.
The spaces are versatile and grouped in such a way that they can function as three apartments.
The suites have a living-dining-kitchen room.
All this around a rest area with a fireplace and access to a solarium ideal for sunbathing, stargazing or simply listening to the silence.
